What is A Beef Share?
A beef share is the most economical way to stock your freezer with premium, regeneratively raised beef. When you purchase a share, you're reserving a whole, half, quarter, or eighth of an animal directly from our farming partners. Once harvested, your share is professionally dry-aged, expertly butchered into a variety of cuts, vacuum sealed, and packaged for your household.
Buying a share means you'll enjoy everything from steaks and roasts to ground beef and slow-cooking favorites—all while supporting local farmers who are committed to raising cattle with care for the land, their animals, and our community. It's a more transparent, sustainable way to source exceptional beef, knowing exactly where your food comes from and how it was raised.
Is a Deposit Required?
Your deposit reserves a beef share from an upcoming harvest. Because our cattle are raised on pasture and harvested on a limited schedule, we raise only what our farming partners can responsibly steward—not more.
Deposits allow us to plan each harvest with confidence, ensuring the right number of animals are raised while minimizing waste and supporting a more sustainable food system. It's one of the many ways we partner with local farmers to prioritize animal welfare, healthy soils, and responsible land stewardship.
Once your animal has been harvested and processed, we'll provide your final hanging weight, total cost, and pickup details before the remaining balance is due.
How Much Beef Will I Receive?
Each beef share is priced based on the animal's hanging weight—the weight of the carcass after harvest and before dry aging and butchering. Because every animal is unique, hanging weights naturally vary, which means the prices listed below are estimates.
After dry aging, trimming, and processing, you can expect your finished, take-home beef to be approximately 65% of the hanging weight. Your final weight and balance due will be calculated once your animal has been harvested and processed.
Every share includes a variety of premium cuts, from steaks and roasts to ground beef and slow-cooking favorites, giving you a well-rounded freezer full of beef to enjoy for months.

A Note About Antihistamine Orders
Our processing partner, Meating Place, charges a small additional fee for antihistamine orders to cover the extra time and resources required during processing. This fee is set by the processor and will be included in your final balance if applicable.
If you have any questions about antihistamine processing or whether it's the right option for your household, we're happy to help.
